This yarn is certified Oeko-Tex® (certificate number 25.3.0099), Standard 100, Class I by INNOVATEXT Textile Engineering and Testing Institute. This means that it has been tested and found to be totally free of hazardous substances, and is considered safe for human and ecological use. Class I is the highest level, meaning that the yarn is suitable for babies (0-3 years).

Strong as only a sock wool can be, DROPS Fabel is a 4-strand superwash-treated yarn, so it can be machine-washed and is therefore easy to care for. Compared to other classic sock yarns, DROPS Fabel is spun from a softer wool quality, making it fantastic for all year round, and therefore suitable for many more projects than socks - try it for baby clothes!
