TARTAN 3 is a magnificent machine-washable 100% wool carded yarn. The colors are mottled, tone-on-tone, luminous and deep. The manufacturing principle is inspired by that of SUPER TWEED: raw wool is flock-dyed, then blended with unbleached wool in three different proportions. Each mixture is then spun and twisted. In this way, a single dye bath is used to produce three coherent, gradated colors.
