This natural, dye-free yarn is a blend of 50% yak down and 50% superfine merino sheep's wool (19 microns). The yak down is harvested by Mongolian breeders who are members of the "Coopérative des Eleveurs des Montagnes du Khangai", an eco-responsible, fair-trade network set up by Fonty with technical support from AVSF (Agronomes et Vétérinaires Sans Frontières).
